Amazon.com Canada exposes what was hidden
My spin: The Associated Press is reporting that Amazon.com's formerly anonymous book review postings were no longer hidden, for a week, as first reported by the New York Times.
Other than the finger wagging we can do to Amazon.com, this should be another alert to businesses.
Technology is great and in fact very powerful, but if not continuously monitored and checked "glitches" can happen - causing embarrassment in the very least.
What if Amazon.com had released private information like telephone or credit card numbers.
So as you start moving more and more online, make sure you check out what is being put online.
