Software Vendors, SMBs To Change Market Tactics
My spin: As you buy or I should say invest in expensive, but needed software, yhy not invest in the services of an objective consultant who can guide you into what software to buy and negotiate a contract in your favor once you setllte on the product/service and vendor you want.
News Factor: Among the world's largest companies, the enterprise-software market is largely saturated, industry observers agree. Vendors have the potential to make add-on sales among their biggest customers, and a wholesale conversion or two will come down the pike. But, on the whole, enterprise-software makers must move downstream to smaller companies if they wish to grow. (full story)
