News Factor: New IE Flaws Labeled 'Extremely Critical'

A handful of Internet Explorer vulnerabilities could give hackers a new means to compromise PCs using the Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) browser, Danish security firm Secunia has revealed.

The five site scripting errors are "extremely critical," the firm's bulletin says. So far, they have been found in IE version 6, but other versions of the browser also may be affected. (full story)
