COMDEX 2003: Bluefire Security Addresses Handheld and Telephony Exploitation

Company Teams With SPI Dynamics to Discuss Wireless Security Concerns

"Security for Handheld and Telephony Devices." As handhelds, tablet PCs and smartphones evolve and become
more sophisticated enterprise computing tools, they become more vulnerable to hack attacks. This interactive panel
session will explore the mobile device security problem by demonstrating how unprotected devices can be exploited and
used as a backdoor to the enterprise network. In addition, panel participants will offer their best practices for
reducing exposure to mobile device vulnerabilities.

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003. 2:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. PST - Las Vegas Convention Center - Room N240 - Las Vegas

My spin: As mobile technology explodes, hackers will start to take piggy back off of the mobile invasion into the corporate office. It's important that IT managers are aware of the potential threat and understand the possible implications.
