AMI: Security: A Top Priority for Small and Medium Businesses
SMBs are increasingly relying on VPNs to provide secure remote access to their employees who either work at home or travel for business. According to AMI's survey, about 34% of U.S. SBs have some form of mobile workforce and the number for U.S. MBs has reached 83%. To meet this growing need, 41% of LAN SBs and 67% if MBs have deployed VPNs. As connectivity becomes linked to business success, enhanced security concerns are driving companies to adopt more robust security solutions. (full story)
