Anchor Desk: What I do about the portable power problem
I want to talk today about the ways we power our portable devices. Perhaps you'd like to join me in venting my frustration about how bulky, short-lived, and incompatible power supplies are and about why we have to carry so many of them around when we travel.
Between my laptop, PDA, and cell phone, I sometimes end up carrying as many as six different AC and DC adapters just to be reasonably assured that they'll have power on the road. It's something I've written about before, but the frustration just doesn't go away. (full story)
