Network Associates(R) Provides Panasonic with McAfee(R) Anti-Virus Protection For Personal Computers
Network Associates, Inc. , the leading provider of intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that it will provide Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd , best known by its Panasonic brand name, with McAfee anti-virus protection for Panasonic's personal computers (PCs). Panasonic will bundle the consumer version of the McAfee VirusScan service into the entire line of the "Let'snote series" of mobile PCs and begin shipping in October of this year. The series includes the "Let'snote W2 Series," the world's lightest PC equipped with DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drives, as well as the "Let'snote T2 Series" and "Let'snote R2 Series," the best blend of functionality and portability.
