Best Software Completes Acquisition of Timberline Software Corporation
Best Software, an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of The Sage Group plc, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Timberline Software Corporation (Timberline), a leading supplier of integrated financial and operations software and services for small to mid-sized businesses in the construction and real estate industries. The merger was approved by Timberline shareholders on September 19.
My spin: It's all about going vertical. There's a lot of "businesses", but when companies personalize their productcs for those businesses, across various business industries, their products are much more desired.
