Yahoo says to buy Overture in $1.63 bln deal
My spin: Ok, so now the battle lines are drawn Google vs Yahoo (vs Microsoft...as in most all case!)
Reuters News Clip: NEW YORK, July 14 (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc. (nasdaq: YHOO - news - people), the Internet media company that has a search service, on Monday said it would buy rival search company Overture Services Inc. (nasdaq: YHOO - news - people) in a deal for $1.63 billion to help it compete with archrival Google Inc.
