SMBs Are Big IT Spenders
My spin: One comment was interesting and gives a bright star for Microsoft. Companies looking for application solutions, look to see what Microsoft is offering before making a purchase. Smaller vendors have a tough time right from the start in selling their solutions - but it CAN be done. You might not BEAT Microsoft (or other brand name app vendors like Intuit) in market share but you can do well in your own regards nevertheless.
News Factor News Clip: While larger enterprises expect to increase their IT spending this year by just over 1 percent, their smaller counterparts will spend 17 percent more on IT products and services in 2003 than in 2002, according to a Forrester Research report.
