News Clip: New Web Site Gives Consumers One-Stop Research Center to Learn About Latest PDA Models
CINCINNATI - - July 16, 2003 - - BargainSpots.com, Inc., a company devoted to helping consumers make informed decisions before buying handheld/wireless computing devices, has launched its newest Web site: PDAReviewSpot.com. The new Web site is an information portal with links to written reviews and price comparisons of the latest models of mobile computing devices by such manufacturers as Palm, Hewlett-Packard, Handspring, Sony, and Toshiba, among others.
Visitors to the site have the capability of quickly accessing information on particular models of PDAs by using drop-down menus. The first step to researching a particular model is to select from a list of device manufacturers. Next, guests are presented with a drop down list of the selected company's PDA models. Upon choosing the desired model, an informational page on the device appears with links to reviews and access to a price comparison engine featuring reputable online merchants.
"We decided to create PDAReviewSpot.com because we felt people were spending too much time searching for information on new PDAs before being able to make an informed decision," said Brian Beeler, BargainSpots.com's president. "While there are dozens of sites that offer novice reviews of handheld computing devices, we felt consumers would best be served by an easy-to-navigate library with links to reviews written by experienced professionals."
Consumers can access information at PDAReviewSpot.com without paying any fees or subscriptions.
