Yahoo News: IBM-Infineon chip to enable computers to be turned on instantly

News Clip: TOKYO, June 10 (AFP) - US computing giant IBM and its German partner Infineon Technologies announced Tuesday they have jointly developed an advanced chip that may eventually allow computers to be turned on and off like a light switch. (full story)
