Washington Post: User Groups, Hanging Together
News Clip: John Sherman, a vice president at the Capital PC User Group, is a little depressed about the state of his organization.
Things have changed at the CPCUG. Back on the eve of the Internet era, the club boasted more than 5,000 members and pulled in attendance of 500 at its monthly meetings. But these days, membership is down to around 1,500 and meetings typically draw only about 75 of the old guard. (full story)
