Vnunet.com: Microsoft buys in antivirus talent
My spin: This is good news, in a way that Microsoft will be having a built in anti-virus protection program. HOWEVER, this will surely put a dent in the sales of Symantec, McAfee and other anti-virus vendors.
News Clip: Microsoft has bought Romanian antivirus company GeCAD Software and will be embedding an antivirus engine in a future version of Windows. (full story)
