Avcom Technologies, Wolfe's employer for two years, was officially closing its doors, bringing an end to a popular Silicon Valley solution provider after more than 20 years in business. Avcom's employees discovered that they'd join the wandering droves of unemployed engineers and consultants looking for work in a tough economy.
