Reuters: Verizon Sees No Need to Acquire AT&T
My spin: Maybe this was the point that Mr. Hewlett (or was it Mr. Packard) were making in their opposition to the HP / Compaq merger. - "It doesn't get us anywhere," Verizon Chief Financial Officer Doreen Toben told Reuters following a presentation at a Banc of America Securities conference in New York.
