Harry Brelsford, author of ten technology books including the forthcoming "SMB Consulting Best Practices" and "Small Business Server 2003 Best Practices" books proudly announces SMB Nation, a conference dedicated to small-medium business technology consultants and highlighting Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003. The three-day weekend conference, designed to accommodate the hard working SMB consultant's schedule, will be held in Indianapolis, IN from September 19-21, 2003. The event is hosted at the historic Union Station Conference Center. Registration is now open at www.smbnation.com.
Finally, a conference focused on SMB technology and Microsoft Windows Small Business Server. No other conference in the world has been offered with this combination. "SMB technology professionals have been ignored by the major technology conferences." Stated Harry Brelsford, SMB Nation founder. "That all changes the third week of September with the opening of SMB Nation in Indy! SMB technology professionals from across the land will gather for this milestone."
This conference mirrors the marketplace it serves. The efforts of volunteers, supplemented by the financial and logistical support of Harry Brelsford, has made SMB Nation a reality. "We're making it happen because such a conference is long overdue," added Brelsford. SMB Nation has attracted the "big hats" of the technology industry to create fresh content specific to the SMB consulting community, including popular security author Roberta Bragg. Add to that SMB speakers from Australia, California, Florida, Washington, Ohio, Michigan and other near and far lands. And the big cattle will be presenting including numerous teams from Microsoft.
SMB Nation is all about SMB consultants getting together to help bring order and profitability to a highly fragmented industry. There are two conference tracks: technical and business. Each conference track is equally weighted in importance. And there is the opportunity to network and socialize with events such as the Indy 500 Track Tour and BBQ and a special Monster Garage-like event where participants will create the "SBS-mobile" which will house a fully functional five-user Small Business Server 2003 network!(full story)
