San Francisco Chronicle: Cisco introducing wireless phone systems
My spin This is not new but WAY cool and useful...and more importantly (maybe) from Cisco.
News Clip: Your office phone could soon go wireless.
Cisco Systems today will introduce a line of phones designed to follow workers as they wander around their office buildings, stores or corporate campuses.
The phones, which look like cell phones, route calls through each company's computer network and use the same transmission technology as wireless laptops. People moving from one office to another won't have to forward calls or rely on voice mail -- their phone numbers will move with them. (full story)
