Press Release: iPass Exceeds 1000 Active, Enterprise-Ready Wi-Fi Hotspots
My spin iPass is an EXCELLENT tool, used by thousands (I'd guess) to connect to ISPs around the world via a local number. If I'm an Earthlink subscriber I can use iPass to connect to a local ISP in Kenya, for example. iPass is now working on round two and connecting WiFi hotspots.
News Clip: iPass Inc. announced that the company has surpassed the 1000 active Wi-Fi hotspot mark just a year after it launched its Global Broadband Roaming (GBR) service. iPass now offers connectivity at more than 1000 Enterprise Ready Wi-Fi hotspots from 11 different network providers in 10 countries plus the United States Virgin Islands.
