Forbes: Handheld computer shipments slump, Palm dominates

News Clip: NEW YORK, April 24 (Reuters) - Global shipments of handheld computers fell 21 percent in the first quarter, as corporations and consumers shied away from the pricey pocket-sized digital organizers, a study showed.
Shipments of the devices, commonly called personal digital assistants, or PDAs, fell to 2.45 million in the first quarter, according to research firm International Data Corp. (full story)
