News Factor: Gartner Trumpets a New Dawn for IT
My spin Amen. HOWEVER, take this with a grain of salt, the advice IS coming from Mr. Tech himself - ie, Gartner's chief exec. Having said, technology can indeed transfer a business from a piece of junk into an efficient, competitive, smooth operation.
News Clip: The IT industry will recover strongly next year even if the rest of the economy remains in crisis, according to Gartner chief executive Michael Fleisher. The analyst urged a symposium audience to ignore the doom-mongers and to start dreaming again about the profound potential of technology to "transform every aspect of our lives."
