News Factor: Blogging Goes Corporate
My spin It's kind of amusing. A technology will begin to take hold - be it IM or blogging...then companies will want to "corporate-tize" things, I've guess for better securiy or more control. However, is the corporate version always better?
News Clip: Weblogs, which enable multiple users to post text easily to a Web site, with the most recent post appearing on top, have been around for years but have gained rampant popularity only recently. This immense interest now is carrying over to the corporate world, where a few companies already are deploying Weblogs for both internal and external communications. Though the trend has been tentative so far, it seems likely that the number of corporate Weblogs will skyrocket in the near future. Are enterprises ready for this new technology? (full story)
