Lower-cost BlackBerry joins RIM pickings


My spin: FYI...the older Blackberry was kind of expensive for consumers - meaning no big business was paying for it. However maybe a lower costing model will spur more sales for non-business users. But then again - would they really want one?


Armed with a grant from the Federal Communications Commission and a new lower-cost BlackBerry device, Research In Motion is looking to target the large consumer market. (full story)
