My spin by, Ramon Ray, Smallbiztechnology.com: While Office 10 may offer a ton of new features, think about this - do you even use 80% of the features in Office 10 or older versions?
To upgrade, or not to upgrade? That is the question Microsoft Office users can expect to face this summer as Office 11, now in beta, makes its way into the marketplace. A second beta is due soon and there may be yet another before the final release this summer.
But already I'm being asked whether individual users and small businesses should upgrade. I've been playing with the first beta of Office 11 for several months now. So today I'd like to offer some preliminary advice. (full story)
