Linksys Wired and Wireless Networking Hardware Deployed in Home Networking Service From Cox Communications

My spin: Just thought it'd be good for you to know...as home offices grow in use and as Americans have their second, third and more computers, cable operators would do well to provide networking services to their customers.

IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Linksys(R), the leading global manufacturer of broadband, wireless and networking hardware for home environments, today announced its award-winning line of wired and wireless networking hardware is being used in the deployment of Home Networking from Cox(SM). Cox Communications, Inc. is currently deploying this new service to High Speed Internet customers in markets across the country. Internet subscribers can purchase hardware and professional support services from Cox. Home Networking from Cox(SM), includes the installation and configuration of a broadband router, a networking card for a second computer, all required cabling, professional installation and ongoing assistance with troubleshooting the network. Cox is among the first cable high-speed Internet providers to recommend and offer broadband routers for sharing a cable Internet connection among multiple computers in the home.(full story)
