NEW YORK - On Jan. 17, CDW Computer Centers Chief Executive John Edwardson gave a 90-minute presentation to the new recruits. CDW had just hired 100 account managers, who will spend the next four months in training. Ask Edwardson how many of the company's 2,800 employees are managing customer accounts and he responds without missing a beat, "1,231." (full story)
