Elance Online Revenues Grew by More Than 60% During 2002

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Elance, Inc. today announced that revenues from its Elance Online(TM) business unit grew by more than 60% during 2002. The Elance Online services marketplace (http://www.elanceonline.com/ ) allows small businesses to post descriptions of their projects free of charge -- in categories as diverse as web design, software development, administrative support, business strategy, graphic design and writing -- and receive proposals from a global pool of service providers. The number of projects outsourced through Elance Online grew by more than 55% during 2002 as more than 30,000 small businesses used the service. (full story)
