TechWire: Technology Convention in Buffalo is Canceled

Buffalo, NY -- The Buffalo News reported on Tuesday that declining attendance and poor industry conditions have forced the cancellation of an annual infotech trade show in Buffalo. The Buffalo Niagara Emerging Technologies Expo, a two-day event, had been held in the fall for many years as a showcase for local technology companies. Last year's event drew about 40 exhibitors, down from 60 the previous year, and this year's main sponsor pulled out. (full story)
