News Factor: What Is Lindows, Anyway?

My spin: Lindows - Linux with a Windows like interface is still and for a long time will be a fringe and niche operating system..but it's good to know what it's all about. Walmart is selling Lindows boxes so maybe it will become a more popular operating system with consumers.

Lindows is a Linux-based operating system that promises to make using Linux as easy as Windows. Indeed, its name suggests a combination of Linux and Windows -- but what exactly is this distribution that has found its way onto Wal-Mart shelves? Is it the next big thing or just good marketing?
