News Factor: Opinion: Is Windows Cheaper Than Linux?

My spin:So which one is cheaper...it all depends on your individual business and what you'll be doing with the respect operating systems

Microsoft seems to have decided that the way to counter the Linux threat is through total cost of ownership (TCO) arguments. As audacious as it ounds, our friends in Redmond want to convince people that Windows actually has a lower TCO than a free operating system that's known to be robust and very flexible...(full story)
