Cnet: CRM Vendors That Look Out for the Big Guys
My spin: I've touched on this issue in previews posts and your going to hear more and more rumblings of the same. The larger companies reducing price and/or finding ways to sell their products, previously only sold to vary larger customers to mid-size (and some to small sized) businesses.
Some vendors are making small concessions. Early this year, Oracle introduced a new pricing model that it said would save many companies as much as 75 percent per application user.(full story)
