Update: Is faxing still relevent?
I asked this question to a FaxBack spokesperson, and here's the answer:
Not really as much anymore. We used to see more people moving towards emailing of docs rather than faxing, but many companies and businesses still use faxing for registered or certified document sending, as well as signatures and government paperwork. Also with viruses being spread almost every day via email, the faxing industry has really still been considered a safe and secure way of transmitting documents.
So although email is considered a more widespread technology, the decrease in faxing has been relatively low.
