Mindbridge Software and MandrakeSoft join forces to promote Intranet Software on Linux
A leading worldwide Linux distributor bundles Linux with leading Intranet Software
Philadelphia, PA - October 18, 2002 - Mindbridge Software Inc., the leading provider of Enterprise Intranet Software solutions, today announced a partnership with MandrakeSoft. Under the Agreement MandrakeSoft will package a 10 user-trial version of Mindbridge's IntraSmart - Intranet Software with their new release of Mandrake Linux 9.0.
"Becoming a partner of MandrakeSoft opens us great opportunities to increase the recognition of our product in the Linux community, said Scott Testa, COO for Mindbridge software. "Being bundled with one of the world's most popular Linux distributions can really add to our efforts in gaining a global market share in the Linux-based intranet/groupware solutions".
My spin:Is it really profitable to make end user software for Linux? Linux on the server is sure going to grow but Linux on the desktop....not sure?
