Microsoft Works: Why it's not just for newbies

ZDNet:Microsoft's Other Suite has long been ridiculed as software with training wheels. But the latest version of MS Works is actually a pretty compelling combo of useful tools (including Word), without Office's imposing price tag. (full story)

My spin: I have always thought MS Works wsa the no-frills, watered down version of MS Office (which...it is) however, David Coursey, ZD Net Anchor Desk wrote a piece on why it may be for you
