Selling Technology Seminar - Hands-On Strategies for Deal Making and Deal Closing
New Bedford, MA - In collaboration with the Small Business Administration and the UMASS Dartmouth, Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Center, Foresight Science & Technology of New Bedford will hold its annual technology seminar on November 7-8, at UMASS Dartmouth's Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center, Fall River, Massachusetts, conveniently located just minutes from Providence RI on Interstate I95.
The 2-day seminar focuses on getting technology into the market, and closing the deal. Topics include licensing technology, obtaining venture capital, understanding regulations and standards, selling technology into commercial, government and foreign markets, and more. Speakers include representatives from the US government, Fortune 500 companies, venture capital firms, universities, state agencies, and Foresight staff.
Each session begins with a hands-on tutorial utilizing real-life examples to help attendees prepare for, conduct, and close sales. Attendees receive a conference CD, which includes a primer on commercialization, worksheets, presentations, and other materials. One on one consulting and workshops are available with Foresight staff at no extra charge.
The cost for the 2-day seminar is $95, which includes all materials, a continental breakfast and luncheon. Awardees from the SBIR/STTR Commercial Program are charged $75.
