PC Maker Gateway Names New C.F.O.
NY Times: SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Gateway Inc (GTW.N), the ailing No. 4 U.S. personal computer maker, said on Monday it was hiring a new chief financial officer, Roderick Sherwood, to replace Joe Burke, who would stay on at Gateway as a senior vice president.
Shares of the company, which is losing money and amid a major restructuring and downsizing, fell almost 11 percent before the announcement on Monday and were unchanged in after-hours trade. (full story)
