Why Desktops Still Rule
Fortune Small Business: Laptops have sex appeal, but are they practical?

My spin: I think that desktops are the best bet - if there's a choice of one or the other. In your office you can use a docking station and have a 17" monitor, full size keyboard, mouse, ports and everything else. When on the road just slip the notebook out of the docking station and you're completely mobile again!
