Report: Dell eyeing MS-platform handhelds (ZDNet)

A new report from market researcher ARS speculates that the PC giant is getting ready to place an order with a contract manufacturer in Taiwan. The report says Dell's systems will likely be based on Microsoft's Pocket PC platform. (full story)

My spin:Dell's tried to sell other things and quickly dis-continued them...but the difference between Dell trying and others is that Dell can usually test how well a product is selling much faster than others can AND is not afraid to STOP making something that its customers do not want.
