NetLedger and Oracle Target SMB
Var Business: What happens when Oracle teams up with a smaller company backed by its chief Larry Ellison that's called NetLedger? The Oracle SBS solution by NetLedger is born, along with plenty of VAR opportunities. (full story)
My spin: I've been watching Oracle SBS ever since it was Netledger. Although I'm not sure how Oracle SBS will compete agains Microsoft, Quickbooks, Peachtree and other players, with Oracle's marketing muscle and financial backings its chances are very good. Oracle has got to a) get new customers and b) steal customers from its competitors
