Verizon Wireless is launching a flat-rate version of its Express Network
plan for customers who want to check e-mail from mobile phones and laptops.
The original Express Network, which was introduced last January, offered a
price plan that was criticized as both confusing and expensive. The new
Express Network service, which is expanding to 29 more U.S. cities today,
will offer a per-minute price plan that includes both voice and data.
