VarBusiness: Microsoft Great Plains drunk on small business
Var Business writer Rob Wright wrote about how Great Plains is doing in light of the recent Microsoft purhcase of this small business focused company. One of the greatest assets Great Plains has is its extensive reseler channel, which is will continue to use and grow to reach more and more small business customers. Microsoft is able to enhance this channel by adding increased ASP functionality to Great Plains products - a key being "Small Business Manager" and add ties into.Net applications. Microsoft bCentral, while focused on the smallest of small businesses and only a few dollars a month (depending on the services used) is a great lead into the more expensive Small Business Manager and other products from Great Plains
