Linux use is growing...mildly
CNET: Flocking to Linux. The spotlight is on the Linux operating system as the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo kicks into gear. Companies large and small are flocking to New York to tout their latest products, services and successes.
My spin: While it's true that Linux Conference and Exposition happening in NYC this week is a big event for Linux fans, the list of advertisers is very small. I would guess signaling that Linux still has a long way to go before reaching a "mass market" status on the desktops of users.
